Tesora was my nickname growing up, it comes from the Italian word “Tesoro” meaning “treasure”.  

I grew up in a very lively busy home, my mother was always creating something, either sewing, quilting, patch working, knitting, crocheting or appliqueing.

My father was an Italian shoe designer, so growing up I was always surrounded by lovely creative productions. After working with luxury brands in London for 6 years I decided to start my family which in turn inspired me to start my own creative business.  I have always greatly appreciated beautiful things and so starting Tesora Kids was easy.

Tesora Kids was born in Bath, England, in July 2009 and I began with a variety of kids products which took off really nicely and my range started growing rapidly.  We moved back to South Africa in April 2010 and I brought Tesora Kids with me, however, I've since found my passion in luxury pyjamas and have decided to put all my energy into that moving forward.

I'm hoping to bring out a few other clothing lines in the future, so please do keep following me.  My two little girls inspire me every day and I will always look at continuing my brand in the direction that my heart takes it.  I hope to always be inspired…..because we love children…
